ESD’s Card Systems and electronic laundry payment systems allow customers to operate laundry equipment using a combination of cards (credit, debit, EBT, and loyalty) and coins, depending on the system selected. Simultaneously, laundry operators gain access to a superior laundry management system!

SMARTCARD

ESD’s flagship product, the SmartCard Electronic Payment System is simple to use and set up. The SmartCard System is a proven and reliable vended laundry solution. Residents, use a SmartCard or MoneyCard (incorporates a small, embedded computer chip), instead of coins, to start laundry equipment. There are no on-site or off-site databases. All necissary information is stored on the SmartCard.

CYBERLAUNDRY

CyberLaundry offers the ultimate in flexibility for both vended laundry owners and customers. There are two reader families that make up CyberLaundry. SmartLink readers accept credit cards, debit cards, loyalty chip cards, and loyalty mag cards.CrossLink readers accept credit cards, debit cards, and loyalty mag cards. The main advantage of CrossLink readers over SmartLink readers is that it allows the system to continue to accept quarters. ESD offers a selection of Value Transfer Machines to facilitate the sale and revaluing of loyalty cards.

Since the system is Internet-based, no computers reside in the vended laundry. Owners can monitor and interact with every machine in the laundry, including the VTM(s), using ESD’s internet-based MyLaundryLink software. MyLaundryLink can be accessed from anywhere in the world from a computer or smartphone. Vended laundry owners can run monthly, daily and hourly reports on all revenue in each category of payment. In the event the Internet connection is lost, chip-based loyalty cards will still work to operate equipment.

CYBERWASH

The CyberWash System offers the flexibility of accepting both magnetic stripe loyalty cards and SmartCards (loyalty card that incorporates a mini computer chip). The system connects CyberWash CardSlides with the location’s on-site computers via a hardwired network. The system can be designed to include a collection of marketing tools that allow vended laundry owners to offer a variety of promotions to attract and retain customers. CyberWash is a hard-wired system that includes on-site Account Manager computers, where all local customer data is maintained.

SYNERGY

This highly reliable system is quick and simple to install thanks to wireless CardSlide Readers and an on-site server. Customers can load value onto loyalty cards at the ESD Payment Center© using debit/credit, cash, Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards, smartphone “tap-and-pay,” and Chip-Based (EMV) Credit/Debit Cards. EMV cards feature a combination of magnetic stripes and embedded microchips. Loyalty cards and coins can be used to operate equipment, depending on the CardSlide Reader selected. Vended laundry owners can access MyLaundryLink, a cloud-based reporting suite accessible via the Internet. In doing so, owners can remotely track equipment usage, income, and more. Synergy is quickly set up using a set of Management Cards.
